(Hong Kong, 18 December 2020) – This winter’s Festive Brunch at CIAK – In The Kitchen welcomes diners with a classic Italian brunch set featuring hand-selected highlights by Executive Chef, Valentino Ugolini. The trattoria located at the Landmark in Central will celebrate the festive season with the set menu until 3 January for HK$398 for two courses that will take guests’ appetites straight to Italy.

The Festive Brunch opens with a choice from a range of savoury dishes such as the refreshing Marinated Salmon Tartare complimented with asparagus, salmon roe, chives, and sour cream. The thinly-sliced Marinated Angus Beef Carpaccio is delicate in texture and full of flavour from the peppery rocket, sweet cherry tomatoes, and parmesan shaves. For an additional HK$60, diners can enjoy a selection of Three Appetizers to sample the daily specials and signature starters from Chef Ugolini.

Moving into second courses, guests can slice into options from various pizzas, plates of pasta, as well as meat and fish dishes. A highlighted pizza is the Norcina which hits the spot with homemade Italian sausage, mushroom, and mozzarella cheese. Meanwhile, Mezze Maniche pasta with homemade sausage, mushroom and pecorino cheese cream sauce is the perfect aromatic, hearty winter dish. Within the second courses, diners can further elevate the brunch experience with the Homemade Tagliolini with Alba White Truffle (for an additional HK$880), featuring the luxurious, seasonal white truffle from the Piedmont region of Italy, cooked to creamy perfection in butter and parmesan cheese. For the meat lovers, a great choice is the Signature Mixed Meat Platter (for an additional HK$190), which includes tender US flank, Iberico pork neck, lamb chop, as well as spicy sausage, all served with fragrant roasted potatoes and sautéed spinach.

The festive feast culminates with indulgent dessert and Italian cheese options (for an additional HK$80). A highlight is the classic Tiramisù with ladyfinger sponge, coffee jelly, and a side of coffee ice cream. For something zestier, the Lemon Tart has a deliciously creamy texture accompanied by a soft meringue, praline crumbles, and vanilla ice cream. At the CIAK Festive Brunch, guests can enjoy an array of sweet treats with the Signature Mixed Dessert Platter (additional HK$40) to try all the top picks at once.

For those who would like to enjoy the feast at home, a wide range of signature items such as the Whole Spring Chicken, Fiorentina Style Mayura T-Bone Steak, attractive Family Sets, as well as various pizzas and pastas are available for takeaway.
