Howard Cai
Howard Cai is a renowned gourmet, whisky connoisseur, and international culinary judge. With a deep understanding of Eastern and Western culinary traditions, he has dedicated himself to redefining luxury dining as a taste innovator.
For eight consecutive years, he has led Black Pearl Three-Diamond Restaurant – Howard’s Gourmet, setting benchmarks in modern Chinese cuisine.
He is also a lifetime member of Scotland’s prestigious Keepers of the Quaich and one of the leading collectors of single malt whisky in China.
In 2015, Howard Cai founded Howard Cai’s Selection, an independent bottling brand for single-cask Scotch whisky, while also pioneering a whisky investment fund to expand whisky appreciation.
In 2022, Howard Cai Selection introduced a modern tea concept under the philosophy of “Anyone, Anywhere, Enjoy Fine Tea.” The collection includes freeze-dried tea powder for cold brewing, artisanal hand-brewed hot teas, and zero-sugar, zero-alcohol, zero-pesticide sparkling tea, offering a healthy and innovative option for dining pairings and beyond.
