Start the feast with the delicious special, Snake Broth, Fish Maw, Chicken, Mushroom, Black Fungus, 30 Years Dried Tangerine Peel (HK$528/person). The soup has been loved by Chinese generations for decades due to its soul-warming properties and medicinal benefits. The addition of fish maw creates a rich broth packed with deep flavours from the snake and chicken meat, served with a refreshing sprinkle of chrysanthemum petals on top.
Reap the health benefits of a Hong Kong classic favourite Braised Lamb Brisket, Bean Curd Stick, Bamboo Shoot, Crispy Bean Curd Roll, Seasonal Vegetable (HK$888), the nurturing lamb stew that improves blood circulation, and hits the spot with its juicy texture and savoury taste. The rich and flavourful lamb stew was cooked for 8 hours with aromatics such as sugarcane, carrot, water chestnut, preserved duck, lemon leaves, beancurd sticks and Chu Hou Paste. Add in crispy bean curd roll and local organic seasonal vegetables for a full indulgence of the essence of this killer sauce.
Diners can also select an authentic Steamed Rice in Pot, Preserved Meat (HK$588), featuring Chinese preserved meat and irresistible rice infused with the clay pot flavours of duck, and sausage, adding the rich homemade soy sauce, as well as a couple more drops of pork fat on the lid to spice up its flavours and aroma. (Hong Kong, November 29, 2021) Canton Bistro once again presents a comforting menu for all dining connoisseurs this winter! The menu features cold-season staples prepared with the authentic Shunde techniques of the esteemed culinary team. Specialities include “Stewed Pork Belly with Taro in Clay Pot”(HK$288), the finely selected winter taro and fresh pork belly are braised for hours until the starchy sauce coating is formed, blending with the pork belly for a creamy texture, melting with the pork belly for a hearty warming meal.
The short-lived pea shoots are always a seasonal delicacy to anticipate. “Sauteed Pea shoots with Preserved Liver Sausages”(HK$328), the tender greens are quickly stir-fried with crushed garlic and topped with a glossy and fatty sauce made with chopped duck liver sausage to give an extra kick. Winter is also a perfect season for seafood. “Braised Cod Fish with Turnip and Bean Paste in Clay Pot”(HK$388), the in-season fatty fish fillets soak up all the sweetness from the turnip in the sizzling clay pot, finished with the flavorful bean paste to lift the aromas to a new height. Lastly, “Omelette with Crab Meat, Fish Mousse”(HK$248), enveloping generous lashings of crab meat and fish mousse with a fluffy egg crust, its delicate freshness brought to the fore with every bite.

(Hong Kong, November 29, 2021) As year-end approaches, it’s the perfect time of the year to reunite with the family and enjoy a heartwarming meal together. Chiu Tang which thrives to bring only the most authentic Chiu Chow cuisine to diners, have curated the nourishing and heartwarming Chiu Chow-style Hotpot for gourmands to savour with their loved ones.
The Chiu Chow-style Hotpot features an array of fine delicacies, including Australian Fresh Sliced Abalone, Japanese Scallops, Fresh Prawns, Whole Conpoy, Eel’s Maw, Fresh Seasonal Fish, Homemade Fish Balls and Seasonal Vegetables.
To enjoy the authentic Chiu Chow experience, guests can choose between Chicken and Pork Clear Broth or Pig’s Tripe clear soup with pickled vegetable and white pepper as the base broth of the hotpot. The pot is available for takeaway only from December 1, 2021 to January 31, 2022 (minimum 1 day in advance to reserve), priced HK$1,980 for 4 persons, HK$2,680 for 6 persons. For guests who look for an enhanced luxurious touch, guests can add Fresh Lobster (HK$368/ 10 taels), Sea Cucumber (HK$368/ 5 slices), Sliced Angus Beef (HK$368/100g) and Rice Vermicelli (HK$68) on top of the hotpot.
